The History of Vocational School
Çorum Vocational
School was found depend on Ondokuz Mayıs University in 1975.
It was depend on Gazi University in 1992.
The Main Aim of Vocational School
The main aim
of Vocational School is to train qualified technical personal
in the field of industry and private sectors. Our school also
contributies to develop of vocational and technical education
using science researches and projects.
The student graduates from this school in the field of industry
and private sectors.
The Main Aim of Vocational School
All
departments has two years curriculum (Four semester in this
school). The pre-licence diploma is awarded too student who
have succesfully completed.
The departments of technical program consist
of general culture, the knowledge of their of own fields,
technical and vocational informations. The
courses of the department ar given in the laboratories and
the workshops as practical.
Our
school has computer technology and industrial electronic laboratories
and workshops. All the programs include 40 days of industrial
training period.
The
course success is depend on norm evulation system. Each course
has a midterm exams and final exam. Our
school has got 2100 students. Our school has one assoc.prof.,
three ph.dr., fifty lecturer and ten administration officers.
Transfer Possibility Among Universities
Graduates
with the Pre-license Degree in Machine may apply undergraduate
programs in related fields by DGS exam
Examination and Assessment
As a general rule evaluation
is based on 1 mid-term (%40) and 1 final exam (%60) per course.
Additional course work or mid term exams may be demanded in
various courses.
